Summer Term
19th April — 21st July 2022
I would like to thank all of our parents and children for the wonderful support shown this term. We have operated under difficult circumstances, high staff and pupil absence. We have had to change plans at short notice and backtrack on some promises.
Thank you for your prayers, patience and understanding. Thank you also for supporting our charity and school fundraising events - your generosity is wonderful and greatly appreciated particularly in very difficult financial times.

About Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is broad, balanced and creative. Teachers use a variety of techniques to ensure that both academic and life skills are taught and reinforced. Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom.

Sports at St Thomas More
Sport at St Thomas More School is wide and varied. There are many sports on offer, both individual and team based.

Clubs
We provide numerous morning, lunchtime and after school clubs catering for a large range of interests. Clubs are available for all children of all abilities.
We are now also providing Early Birds and Double Clubs every day. Early Birds starts at 8am until the start of school and Double Club starts at the end of the school day until 6pm. If you would like more information please contact the school office.

Forest School
Children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 attend forest school which aims to increase the skills and knowledge of pupils through a child centred, holistic approach in the outdoors.
Children in Key Stage 2 follow an Eco Curriculum which again serves to teach the children about caring for God’s Creation and their contribution to the Common Good.
St Thomas More Montessori Pre-School
Our pre-school is on site and takes children from 18 months to 5 years old. Visit the website here
Our school is brilliant. I wouldn’t change a thing!
