About Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is broad, balanced and creative. Teachers use a variety of techniques to ensure that both academic and life skills are taught and reinforced. Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom.

Sports at St Thomas More

Sport at St Thomas More School is wide and varied. There are many sports on offer, some of which are individual sports while others involve teams. Events are sometimes inclusive while others are competitive.

Clubs

We provide numerous morning, lunchtime and afterschool clubs catering for a large range of interests. Clubs are available for all children of all abilities.

Forest School

Children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 attend forest school which aims to increase the skills and knowledge of pupils through a child centred, holistic approach in the outdoors.

Children in Key Stage 2 follow an Eco Curriculum which again serves to teach the children about caring for God’s Creation and their contribution to the Common Good.

On behalf of myself, the Governing Body, staff and children, I would like to welcome you to St. Thomas More School. If your child is to join us soon, we hope that this will be the beginning of a very happy time for you and your child. We are all very proud of our vibrant, inclusive and creative school.
