Home Learning This Week
This week the teachers have prepared home learning in a slightly different format. They have posted transition work for their new class to undertake. The activities can be found on your year's Home Learning page
It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye at the end of term to Andrea McKeogh.
Andrea has been associated with St Thomas More School for over 15 years. She started as a parent volunteer when her two sons were pupils and then took on the role as one to one support for a child with special needs. She has been a class learning assistant and a treasured learning mentor supporting children with emotional needs for many years.
She will be greatly missed as we offer her all our thanks. We wish her lots of love and good wishes for her retirement.

The Department for Education have approved a number of sites for Home Learning. These sites are recommended to provide extra resources alongside and in addition to the curriculum that has been prepared by our teachers.

The NSPCC also has lots of advice and support for during the lockdown
If you fancy something a bit different this new website has been developed by a group of Essex Headteachers and is free to access
In addition we recommend checking out these sites for more educational content.
